Concept one 2014

One of the first models I built in Rhino 3D. A lightweight 2-seater concept, which began with a rear-mounted Wankel engine that was eventually replaced by an electric motor. The main aim was to create a vehicle stripped down to its bare essentials, much like how designers approached the original BMC Mini. The main carbon tub was the chassis on which all components were attached. Narrower wheels and tyres than conventional cars meant less unsprung weight, better aerodynamics and reduced costs. It was mainly done to learn Rhino so much of it was not fully developed as a serious design proposal.
