This was the armature created for the sculpture of Rambo the ram, a local resident on the Sommerberg hillside. It was made from sticks, tree branches and wire mesh wrapped in plaster soaked linen rags. Much of the final sculpture was made up of rags soaked in plaster to emulate the ram's woollen coat. Only the legs, head and horns needed intensive modelling once the armature and body was finished.
