Hare

This hare was a long way off, maybe 100m, when I first saw it on a track in the Black Forest. It was so still that initially I thought it was a rock and it was only as I edged nearer that it became clear that it was in fact a hare. Even with my 270mm zoom I could only capture a small image of it and eventually it hopped away, up the track, leaving me a little disappointed that I had not got closer.
