Donkey & the egret

An egret takes a ride on a donkey in a field in the Spanish outback. Egrets could often be seen riding horses, sheep and probably any other animals willing to accept them. As egrets are mainly fish eaters, I am not sure what attracts them to riding piggy-back but maybe they find interesing insects to pick off and in so doing help the animals in some way.
