Blue-black butterfly, Taiwan

There are so many variations on butterflies, even those that appear similar in markings and colours that it is just about impossible to identify each one individualy. I am pretty sure that if you laid every butterfly in the world side by side according to colour and markings, you would end up with a smooth transition between them all. So this is a black butterfly with white and blue eye-spots seen in central Taiwan.
