This was the fastest growing plant I have ever seen, so I have called it a beanstalk (after Jack in the beanstalk), though I have no idea what it really was. It was growing next door to me in Taiwan and at such a rate that I am sure if you watched it and concentrated you would have seen it growing. Each day it grew several inches, sometimes as much as six inches.
